KIWAYA

On June 15th, 2009, Ohta-san, 'ukulele virtuoso came to KIWAYA.
Ryouji Okamoto, the chairman of KIWAYA and Ohta-san have been friends for more than 30 years, but it was the first time for Ohta-san came to come to KIWAYA.
They are both very busy, it was hard for Okamoto to go to Hawaii to meet Ohta-san.
However, Okamoto could finally visit Hawaii and met Ohta-san in 2007. So, in return Ohta-san came to KIWAYA.

Ohta-san has supported KIWAYA as a ukulele player. He wrote a recommendation for "Famous Ukulele" in 1989.
Okamoto and Ohta-san have gone to Ishigaki island (near Okinawa) for a ukulele tour together.
They enjoyed chatting over the old days.
